Welcome One and All!
CRCGV is a God fearing fellowship of believers located in the scenic setting of Grass Valley, California. We are members of the Reformed Church in the United States, and hold to the inspiration and infallibility of the Bible, as well we adhere to the Three Forms of Unity, the Canons of Dort, The Heidelberg Catechism, and the Belgic Confession of Faith as our doctrinal standards as to what the Scripture teaches. Our fear of the LORD is not a dread or worldly fear, but a passion of love, devotion to worship, a deep understanding of who God is, what He requires of all humanity, and a sincere conviction that we fail daily to meet those standards of perfection our Lord Jesus commanded of us, from Matt 5:48
“Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
We desire to share the Gospel of Christ, the message which began changing the world from its foundation, with a promise of restoration, salvation, freedom from the darkness of sin, and an eternal relationship with our Father in heaven.
The ministry of CRCGV is built on the pillars of the Church:
- Accurate Preaching of Gods Word from the Bible
- Proper Distribution of Discipline and Order in the Church
- Proper Distribution of the Sacraments
We are confession oriented holding to the teaching of the early Church as formulated in the Apostles Creed:
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only-begotten Son, our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hell; the third day He rose from the dead;
He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge
the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy, catholic Church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
We invite you to join with us for the Public Worship of God Sunday Morning:
